Windermere Water Charters (WWC) is licensed by South Lakeland District Council to use Skyfall on Lake Windermere to carry up to 6 passengers, and in accordance with Lake Windermere Bye Laws.

WWC reserves the right to refuse to allow any person(s) onto the vessel that it considers to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs

No liability is accepted by WWC for injury or death of person(s) whilst on board the vessel, or whilst getting on or off the vessel. Any person(s) using the Marina area or floating pontoons do so entirely at their own risk.

No liability is accepted by WWC for loss or damage to any passenger’s belongings.

​

WWC will provide a pre charter briefing which will cover emergency procedures and safet messages, all passengers must listen to and adhere with the guidance and instructions given. The Skipper’s decision is final.

WWC will provide lifejackets for all passengers on a charter, these must be worn and used in accordance with the instruction given

Passengers must be respectful of all other lake users.

​

The charter must be paid for in full before the appointed charter time, and the payer will also be responsible for any unreasonable or wilful damage caused to the vessel during the charter.

​

It may not always be suitable for someone with a physical disability, medical condition or who is undergoing medical treatment to be on a charter, so by accepting these conditions those persons warrant their fitness and take full responsibility for their safety.

Cancellation policy if cancelled by us - if we need to cancel your booking for whatever reason, which may include that we deem the weather is unsuitable on the day, we will offer you a full refund or an alternative date.

 

Cancellation policy if cancelled by you - if you cancel up to 48hrs before your booking we will offer you a full refund or an alternative date. If you cancel within 48hrs of your booking, no refund will be given.
